KIRINJI were originally formed in 1996 in Sakado, Saitama. Brothers Takaki and Yasuyuki Horigome were the central point and founding members, which eventually went on to include a revolving cast of musicians with only Takaki Horigome remaining as the constant. With over a dozen albums under their belt, KIRINJI are true pros of the Japanese city pop genre. Tight rhythms and breezy melodies.
